Facts

ConfluX, LLC. was incorporated in the state of Washington in April of 2002, however, they are the continuation of the Internet business unit of our former consulting corporation. We felt it was more benificial to our investors and to our clients to clarify the distinct natures of the two business units. Previously we provided ConfluX branded Internet services since January of 1996. We provided our services prior to that since August of 1991. Our longevity in the network consulting and Internet service industry is tough to match.

Since beginning operations in 1991, ConfluX and its former entities have only lost two customers. Both because they chose to develop an in house alternative as their operations aged. We still occasionally answer questions in a consulting role with one.

Our total Internet connectivity downtime since 1991 is approximately 34 hours. Only 8 hours of that was due to equipment under our control while spares were being acquired early in our Internet operation days. Our longest outage was 20 hours when GTE crossed two optical cables creating a regional outage for Sprint customers. GTE also created a 4 hour outage when they cut all the networking cables run to our location. The balance were resolved by our backbone providers and were a series of small outages lasting no more than one hour, usually at night on weekends, presumably introduced as part of routine maintenance operations and usually lasting 10-15 minutes.
